1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website can store in your browser to remember information about your visit. There are also similar technologies (web beacons, local storage) with similar purposes.
2. What does this site use?
We want to be clear and direct: this site does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We do not install trackers or build browsing profiles of visitors.
We only store two functional preferences that you choose, needed so the site remembers how you want to see it:
- Language (cookie
aridoctor_locale): remembers whether you prefer the site in Spanish or English. It lasts one year and is shared with the AriDoctor applications so they open in the same language. - Theme (local storage
aridoctor_landing_tema): remembers whether you prefer the light theme, the dark theme or the system one. It stays in your browser and is not sent to any server.
The only third-party technologies the site loads are the following:
- Google Fonts: to display the site with its brand typeface, we load fonts from Google's servers. In doing so, Google may record your IP address under its own privacy policy. This load does not install tracking cookies in your browser.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (only on the prescription validation page): before showing whether a prescription is authentic, we check that the person asking is a human and not an automated program. Cloudflare may process technical browser data and your IP address solely for that security purpose; it is not used for advertising or to follow you across sites.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
If at any point a section requires cookies that are essential for it to work (for example, to keep a session open), they would be used only for that technical purpose and do not require consent under the applicable regulations.
4. Future changes and consent
If in the future we add analytics or measurement tools (for example, to understand how the site is used), we will update this policy and, when the law requires it,we will ask for your prior consent through a notice or banner before turning them on.
5. How to control cookies
You can set your browser to block or delete cookies and site data at any time, from the privacy preferences or settings of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or any other browser. Blocking these technologies does not affect browsing this informational site.
This policy complements our Comprehensive Privacy Notice. Questions: contacto@aridoctor.com.mx.
